We’re looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our growing team and help shape the architecture, design, and scalability of our products.

Role Objective

The Senior Backend Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining server-side logic, databases, and APIs that power the company’s applications. This role requires strong programming skills, experience in API architecture, and a solid understanding of database management and backend best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and scalable backend services.
Develop, integrate, and maintain RESTful APIs.
Manage and optimize both relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases.
Ensure system performance, security, and scalability across applications.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
Write automated tests to ensure product quality and reliability.
Implement security best practices in backend development.
Collaborate closely with Frontend, Product, and QA teams to define requirements.
Manage version control using Git and maintain proper documentation of backend systems.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in backend software development.
Proficiency in one or more backend languages such as Python, Go, C#, or Node.js.
Strong knowledge of REST APIs, web architecture, and cloud service platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar).
Advanced experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Intermediate level of English (reading and technical communication).
Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
