We are looking for a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain data systems that enable insight, scalability, and automation across our operations.

Role Objective

The Data Engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining robust data systems aligned with business needs. This includes designing, optimizing, and automating data pipelines (ETL processes) and managing cloud-based infrastructure for data engineering workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze, design, and build data interfaces and pipelines (ETLs).
Develop, orchestrate, and optimize ETL processes for data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
Build and automate infrastructure for data processes in the cloud (AWS, Azure, or similar).
Detect and monitor system or ETL failures and ensure timely resolution.
Design and create optimized tables and views for business reporting and analytics.
Implement and maintain best practices for data architecture, processing, and governance.
Collaborate with software engineers, analysts, and business teams to ensure data accuracy and reliability.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in data engineering or similar roles.
Strong programming skills with Python, Go, Perl, or Bash.
Experience with data systems such as Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, Apache Airflow, AWS Redshift, AWS Glue, AWS Athena, or Delta Lake.
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Kubernetes).
Proficiency with Linux terminals and shell scripting.
Solid understanding of statistics and data processing libraries (Pandas, NumPy).
Basic experience with cloud service platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).
Intermediate to advanced English level (technical communication).
Passion for data engineering trends and emerging technologies.
