Ranz Law is a U.S.-based personal injury law firm serving a diverse, primarily Hispanic client base in Washington and surrounding areas. The firm operates with a collaborative, people-first culture and is currently seeking additional support to help manage a growing caseload efficiently and consistently.
This role is designed as a support position to assist two paralegals by handling repeatable, administrative, and client-facing tasks—freeing senior staff to focus on higher-value legal work.
Position Summary
The Legal Assistant will provide administrative and operational support to two paralegals handling approximately 60 cases each. This is an execution-focused role, ideal for someone highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable following structured processes.
The position is fully remote and best suited for a candidate who can dedicate focused work time (not juggling multiple jobs), with availability during U.S. Pacific Time business hours.
Key Responsibilities
Case & Administrative Support

Assist paralegals with day-to-day case support tasks.

Send and follow up on client emails requesting documentation.

Track missing documents and follow up consistently.

Support file audits and ensure case files are complete and up to date.

Reprioritize and update cases inside the CRM.
CRM & Systems

Use Casepeer CRM for case updates and task tracking (a few hours per day).

Handle inbound and outbound communications via RingCentral.

Use Microsoft Office / Outlook for email, scheduling, and document handling.

Access a remote server environment securely (stable internet required).
Client Communication & Interpretation

Communicate with Spanish-speaking clients in a professional, empathetic manner.

Assist as an interpreter when needed.

Support client relationships with a respectful, service-oriented approach.
Process & SOP Support

Help execute and follow newly created SOPs.

Assist with documenting repeatable tasks and workflows.

Support onboarding and training processes (3-week onboarding planned).

Required

Fluent in Spanish; English proficiency sufficient for emails and internal communication.

Comfortable working with CRM systems and basic tech tools.

Able to commit to one primary role (not working multiple full-time jobs).
