About the Role
We are seeking a Director of Finance Operations to act as the right hand to the CFO, taking full ownership of day-to-day finance operations while building scalable processes across multiple international entities.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can step in immediately, bring structure, and drive operational efficiency across accounting, compliance, and financial reporting.
You will play a key role in:
- Setting up new entities in international markets
- Managing global accounting operations
- Improving processes and financial visibility
- Leading and developing a growing finance team
Key Responsibilities
Finance Operations & Accounting
- Oversee global accounting operations across multiple entities
- Manage vendors, invoicing, and financial reporting
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data
- Own day-to-day finance execution
International Expansion
- Set up and manage accounting structures in new markets (Brazil, India, etc.)
- Support entity creation, local invoicing, and compliance
- Coordinate with local and international stakeholders
Process Improvement & Structure
- Identify inefficiencies and implement scalable processes
- Bring structure to a reactive finance environment
- Improve reporting, controls, and operational workflows
Team Leadership
- Manage and develop a finance team (~9–12 people)
- Act as a strong operational leader and mentor
- Drive accountability and execution within the team
Strategic Support
- Partner closely with the CFO on financial planning and execution
- Provide insights to support business decisions
- Balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or related roles
- Strong experience in international accounting and multi-entity operations
- Proven ability to build and improve financial processes
- Experience working across multiple countries (ideally Mexico, China, Brazil, India)
- Hands-on mindset with ability to operate in lean environments
- Experience managing teams
Technical Skills:
- Strong accounting and financial reporting knowledge
- Experience with international banking, treasury, and compliance
- Familiarity with QuickBooks Online or similar tools
