About the Company
eHub America is a growing U.S.-based e-commerce company specializing in communications, security, and technology products for B2B and B2C customers.
We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to take ownership of day-to-day operations, lead our distributed team, and help us build the systems and processes needed for the next stage of growth.
This person will work directly with the Founder and serve as his operational right hand. The goal is to create greater accountability and structure across the business so the Founder can spend more time focused on sales and growth rather than day-to-day team management.
What You’ll Do
Team Leadership & Accountability
- Lead and coordinate a small team across operations, logistics, marketing, customer support, and technical functions.
- Establish clear priorities, responsibilities, and deadlines.
- Delegate work and follow up to ensure commitments are completed.
- Hold team members accountable while maintaining a positive working environment.
- Identify performance issues and help team members become more independent.
- Conduct regular team check-ins and provide feedback.
Operations & Process Improvement
- Oversee the company’s day-to-day operational workflow.
- Review and improve existing SOPs, Loom videos, checklists, and processes.
- Identify bottlenecks, unclear responsibilities, and recurring operational problems.
- Create systems that provide better visibility into tasks, deadlines, and ownership.
- Make sure important responsibilities don’t fall through the cracks.
- Bring solutions and recommendations to the Founder rather than escalating every decision.
E-Commerce Operations
- Help oversee workflows across Shopify, Amazon, and eBay.
- Coordinate customer quote requests, orders, inventory, logistics, and fulfillment.
- Ensure the team follows up appropriately with customers and vendors.
- Help resolve operational issues that affect customer experience or order execution.
- Coordinate responsibilities between team members involved in different parts of the customer and order lifecycle.
Systems, Technology & Automation
- Help optimize the company’s use of Zoho Inventory, Zoho Books, CRM, and Campaigns.
- Support the company’s transition to Google Workspace.
- Identify repetitive tasks that can be simplified or automated.
- Encourage effective use of tools such as ChatGPT and Claude across the team.
- Work with future technical or automation resources to improve efficiency.
What We’re Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in Operations, E-Commerce, Business Operations, or a similar role.
- Previous experience managing or leading a small team.
- Experience working with e-commerce businesses or online marketplaces.
- Familiarity with Shopify, Amazon, eBay, or similar platforms.
- Strong organizational and project-management skills.
- Experience creating or improving SOPs and workflows.
- Comfortable managing remote employees and distributed teams.
- Able to delegate, follow up, and hold others accountable.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems.
- Fluent Spanish and strong professional English.
- Experience working with U.S. companies is preferred.
- Experience with Zoho or similar ERP/CRM systems is a plus.
- Mexico-based candidates are strongly preferred.
Who Will Succeed in This Role
We are looking for someone who is proactive, resourceful, organized, and comfortable taking ownership.
You shouldn’t need the Founder to answer every question. When you identify a problem, we want you to investigate it, think through possible solutions, and recommend the best path forward.
You should also enjoy working with people. This position requires someone who can create accountability without micromanaging, communicate directly when something isn’t working, and build trust with a remote team.
This is a small entrepreneurial company, so you should be comfortable switching between big-picture operational thinking and hands-on problem solving when necessary.
What Success Looks Like
During the first 90 days, you will learn the business and team, clarify responsibilities, identify the biggest operational bottlenecks, and begin improving the company’s most important workflows.
Success means:
- Everyone understands what they own.
- Tasks and deadlines are consistently followed through.
- SOPs and processes are actually being used.
- Problems are identified before they become emergencies.
- The team operates with greater independence and accountability.
- The Founder spends significantly less time managing day-to-day operations.
