As a Design Project Manager, you will lead design initiatives from kickoff to delivery, ensuring projects are executed on time, within scope, and within budget. You will act as the operational backbone of the design team—coordinating with clients, managing timelines and workflows, and partnering closely with designers to deliver high-quality UX/UI and design solutions.
This role requires a strong balance of client-facing communication, team leadership, and hands-on project execution, as well as a solid understanding of design workflows and best practices.
Responsibilities
Project & Delivery Management

Lead multiple client design projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery meets timelines, budget, and quality standards.

Own project planning from discovery through delivery (including UX/UI and design discovery projects).

Set clear deadlines, define scopes, prioritize tasks, and assign work based on team strengths and project needs.

Monitor progress, risks, and dependencies, proactively resolving blockers.

Ensure all deliverables meet company standards and client expectations.
Team Leadership & Collaboration

Align the design team around project goals, KPIs, and expectations.

Delegate tasks effectively and manage team capacity to maintain productivity and focus.

Coach and mentor designers through regular feedback, guidance, and performance support.

Foster a collaborative, communicative, and accountable team environment.
Process Optimization

Develop, document, and continuously refine project management processes to improve design workflows.

Implement best practices to optimize efficiency, quality, and scalability.

Support internal design and marketing initiatives (e.g., website updates, sales presentations, internal assets).
Client & Stakeholder Management

Act as the primary point of contact for design-related project updates.

Communicate clearly and consistently with U.S.-based clients and internal stakeholders.

Ensure alignment between client expectations, project scope, and delivery outcomes.
Qualifications
Required
-
5+ years of project management experience, ideally in an agency or design-driven environment.

Strong understanding of UX/UI design workflows and processes.

Familiarity with design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud.

Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Proven experience working with U.S.-based clients.

Proficiency with project management tools such as ClickUp, Notion, or similar platforms.

Solid understanding of Agile methodologies or other modern project management frameworks.

Strong leadership, delegation, and organizational skills.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, IT, Design, or a related field.
